INTRODUCTION

LONDON BRIDGE

The original London Bridge is now in Arizona. The City of London sold the London Bridge, built in 1831, in 1967 because it was not strong enough to withstand the increase in traffic at the time. The bridge was purchased by Robert P. McCulloch and moved, piece by piece, to the United States, in Arizona where it is still located.

CROWS OF THE TOWER OF LONDON

On the grounds of the Tower of London, there must always be at least six crows. This is required by law in an ancient decree of King Charles II. The legend says that if this rule was broken, the monarchy would fall

BLACK CAB

To obtain a license, drivers of the Black Cab (the typical black taxi in London) must pass a rigorous test called "The knowledge", which involves memorizing each single road in the capital. It is considered one of the most difficult tests of its kind in the world.

OXFORD PUNTING

The picturesque Oxford Canal runs through the countryside, offering tourists a fantastic view and the opportunity to make punting. If you love picnicking by the river, then a trip to Oxford will make your heart beat! Last summer when I went punting, it was an amazing experience because besides the fantastic panorama, on that day I saw many students graduating.

CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY

You can’t talk about why you love Cambridge without mentioning its legendary University. Founded in 1209, it has been ranked for years as one of the top universities in Britain (along with Oxford). Among the pupils are legendary names and faces like Stephen Hawking, Charles Darwin and Isaac Newton.
