greeting!

What’s one thing you’re looking forward to this week?

TH - sounds

There are two TH sounds in American English.

TH VOICELESS - A sound that is produced only with air frictioning the tongue and the upper teeth. TH VOICED - A sound produced by the same tongue and lips position but this time adding some voice with your vocal chords.

They are a support and make your content more memorable.

Reading Practice - TH

There was a young boy named Tim. He thought that his brother was the smartest person in the world. They always played together, and one day, Tim asked, "Do you think that three is the magic number?" His brother smiled and said, "This is an interesting theory. Let's think about it!" The two brothers sat under a big tree, drinking thick milkshakes. Through the leaves, they could see the bright sun. The weather was warm, and another idea popped into Tim’s head. "Do you thank the weather for being nice?" "That’s funny," his brother laughed. "But I thank the world for giving us such days. Maybe tomorrow, we’ll learn something new together.

Animate your content and take it to the next level

Animation adds value to our content by helping us capture attention, prioritize ideas, and make our class remember the content. Our brain is biologically prepared to learn through visual content. Almost 50% of our brain is involved in processing visual stimuli.

With Genially templates, you can include visual resources to engage the class from the first minute. Also, highlight key content to facilitate its assimilation and even embed external content that surprises and provides more context to the topic: videos, photos, audios... Whatever you want! We better capture visual content. This type of content is associated with cognitive and psychological mechanisms. Things enter through the eyes, the first image is what counts. We associate visual content with emotions.
