Who are the korn?

Korn is a nu metal band from Bakersfield, California. They are often credited with pioneering the nu metal genre and having inspired the wave of nu metal, alternative metal and influenced rapcore bands in the mid-1990s and early 21st century, helping, in particular, Limp Bizkit (a band that was discovered by Korn) and together with them they spread nu metal throughout the world.

Song-Falling Away From me

Beating me down, beating me, beating me down Down into the ground Screaming so sound, beating me, beating me down Down into the ground

Beating me down, beating me, beating me down Down into the ground Screaming so sound, beating me, beating me down Down into the ground

Life's falling away from me It's falling away from me Life's falling away from me ---

Twisting me, they won't go away So I pray, go away

Beating me down, beating me, beating me down Down into the ground Screaming so sound, beating me, beating me down Down into the ground

(Falling away from me) It's spinning round and round (Falling away from me) It's lost and can't be found (Falling away from me) It's spinning round and round (Falling away from me) So it down

Beating me down, beating me, beating me down Down into the ground Screaming so sound, beating me, beating me down Down into the ground

Day is here fading, that's when I'm insane I flirt with suicide, sometimes kill the pain I can always say, it's gonna be better tomorrow Falling away from me, falling away from me

Hey, I'm feeling tired, my time is gone today You flirt with suicide, sometimes that's ok Do what others say, I'm here standing hollow Falling away from me, falling away from me

music analysis

Korn lead singer Jonathan Davis is very forthright about his battles with depression and the abuse he endured as a kid. He often loads these thoughts into his lyrics as a catharsis, and to let listeners who might be going through something similar know they're not alone. "Falling Away From Me" is one of these songs. He explained: "The song is about domestic abuse and that there are ways to get help. Whether it's telling someone or calling a help line, there are ways to get out of those situations. No one has to be treated like that." The song doesn't offer solutions, but it does offer empathy. For many Korn fans, knowing that Davis - a successful rock star - often felt beaten down by life signaled that it was OK to feel this way. There was no shame in talking about it or asking for help.

Listen to KORN is very good (if you think is not, you are wrong!)

thank you!
