Keep it simple

Use your imagination and think outside the box. Think of unconventional uses of everyday items to build your prototypes.

Focus on your core idea. Use basic materials to represent the main features or concepts.

Be playful

Gather feedback

Iterate and improve

Present your prototypes to peers or your target audience to get feedback and suggestions.

Make failure your friend

Keep changing and improving your ideas based on feedback. Prototype as many times as you need.

Remember, failure and things not working are important to the prototyping process. Every idea you have is not going to work, and an idea that seems good on paper (and got good feedback from your target audience in Module 3) may get some challenging feedback when your audience tests it as a prototype.
