MEANING OF THE FLAG
- Green: represents the Muslim majority of Pakistan.
- White stripe: represents the country's religious minorities, including Hindus, Christians, Sikhs, and Zoroastrians.
- Crescent and star: represents Islam, with the crescent representing progress and the five-pointed star representing light and knowledge.
- Design : the flag's design represents the country's commitment to Islam and the rights of religious minorities.
- Adoption : the flag was adopted on August 11, 1947, just days before Pakistan's independence.
- Inspiration: The flag was based on the original flag of the Muslim League, which was inspired by the flag of the Ottoman Empire.
- Display: the flag is often seen hanging from private homes and is hoisted each year on August 14th.
- Name : the flag is referred to in the national anthem as Parcham-e-Sitāra-o-Hilāl in Urdu, which literally translates to "Flag of the Crescent and Star"

Nihari: Known as the "national dish of Pakistan", the word 'nihari' is derived from the Arabic word “nahaar” (morning), implying that this dish was meant to be eaten as the first meal of the day.

- Malala Yousafzai: The youngest Nobel Laureate, who won the Peace Prize in 2014 for her efforts to promote education for girls in Pakistan.
- Sufi Shrines: Pakistan's terrain is dotted with Sufi shrines, some centuries old and some of recent origin.
- Karakoram Highway: The world's highest paved road, also known as the China-Pakistan friendship highway.
- Gwadar: The world's largest deep sea port.
