Summary

When selecting a course that is blended for an educational framework, it would be beneficial to integrate technology in the classroom. This helps guide the teacher in planning instructional activies through using technology that reach all learners. In addition, technology helps track the mastery of common core state standards and objectives. A course that is blended includes atleast two different ways to provdie instruction (Mcgee & Reis, 2012). There are many options available for integrating technology in the classroom. Not only are students learning with the use of technology but they are learning from technology as well (Moon et al.,2021). Lastly, as students build their foundational skills and improve their critical thinking skills, they master standards and objectives that will benefit them in the real world (Kaya, 2015).

Math

Students that receive special education services in the resource setting usually work on the same whole group lesson and project.

This course focuses on the different models of special education including the inclusion setting and resource setting, where students are removed from the general education setting.

Often classes integrate bilingual students with monolingual students due to lack of space, staff members and/or resources. It is ideal to have a bilingual class and a monolingual class, althought it can pose a challenge.

Multiple grade levels

Many times in a resource setting, grade levels are integrated. For example 7th grade and 8th grade may be enrolled in the same math class or ELA class.
