The Reservation management screen

You can do a lot of things in this screen. Let's explore each of them!

Let's go!

This is the Reservation management screen. To explore its features, start by clicking on the Status tab and proceed through the other tabs to learn more about their functions

STATUS

The Status tab lets you view the guest's balance, their space's Housekeeping status, and more reservation details.It also lets you check in a reservation, undo check-in or check-out, and cancel the reservation.If you need to print a registration card, you may do it by clicking the '🖨 Registration cards' button.

PROPERTIES

The Properties tab allows you to modify the information of the reservation when it was created. This includes changing the Arrival and Departure date and time, splitting the reservation, and changing the Reservation purpose or Segment. You may also add company details and reservation notes. Lastly, you can upgrade or downgrade a reservation from this tab.

GROUP

The Group tab allows you to manage reservations. This includes adding a new guest to an existing reservation, changing group name, merging reservations, and uploading a Rooming list. The Rooming list feature in Mews allows you to import guest information directly into the customer profiles and automatically apply guest rooming preferences in one step.

Please note that the rooming list is only available for our Professional and Enterprise packages.

PRICING

The Pricing tab lets you change the rate or modify the price of the reservation. This is especially helpful if you want to give a guest some discounts.

ITEMS

The Items tab shows the number of nights a guest stays at your property and their product orders. Under the 'Product orders' section, you can add a product by adding the product name and its count. To cancel a product, simply click on the 'Cancel' button next to the product name.

Note: Added products follow their set rules. For example, if a product is set to "charge per person per night, once", you don't need to add two items for two guests. For more details on setting up products, please visit the

MAILING

The Mailing tab allows you to resend emails to your customer or the booker. When resending an email, you can pick the language your customer is comfortable with.

ACTION LOG

The Action Log tracks all actions performed on the reservation, whether by your colleagues or automatically by the system, for example when a reservation is made through a channel manager. It gives you an overview of the stay period for your selected reservations, reflecting the service booked for the requested time unit.

SUMMARY

The Summary tab gives you a preview of the consumed and to-be consumed products for the the selected reservation, as well as any additional expenses. You can also view the current state of the selected reservations and the rates booked. It's also possible to print or view the list of nights and spaces for selected reservations.

BILLING

The Billing tab brings you to the billing screen, where you can post a bill, issue invoices, and select payment methods. Pro & Enterprise clients will access the group billing screen (not individually). This feature is not available for Basic clients. And that covers all nine tabs in Reservation management screen! Click on the arrow to interact with each tab again, or scroll down to continue with the course.
