“Hello everyone, my name is Sandra Ovando and today I am going to tell you about my learning techniques project. This project was part of my class 'Strategies for Students Success' and it helped me improve the way I study. Let's take a look at three strategies I tried and how they helped me improve my learning.”

Strategy 1: The Feynman Technique

“First, I used the Feynman technique, which is an excellent strategy for understanding topics in depth. The main idea is to explain the concept as if you were teaching it to someone with no knowledge of the subject. This allowed me to identify areas where I did not have a complete understanding and helped me focus on them. I plan to continue using this technique both in my studies and in my personal life.”

Strategy 2: Cornell Method of Note-Taking

“The next method I used was the Cornell Method of note taking. I liked it because it helped me better organize important information, key details and examples. I implemented it quickly and it allowed me to identify what was most relevant in each class. I will certainly continue to use it in all my courses.”

Yes, it helped me retain the information longer, as the technique of reviewing the material several times reinforces the memory.The strategy was very effective, although at first it was difficult to organize my time. However, I noticed significant improvements in my retention of information.

In the future I plan to use this technique not only in my studies, but also in my personal and work life to achieve more lasting learning.
