Abraham Oakley Hall
Nicknamed "Elegant Oakley" he served as Mayor of New York City. from 1868 to 1872.. Hall was tried three times from 1871 to 1873 but he won surprise acquittals.

Richard "Slippery Dick" Connolly
Also known as "Slippery Dick", Connolly served as chief financial officer for the Tweed Ring. Following his resignation on November 18, 1871, Connolly was arrested. While Connolly was prepared to meet bail, his wife Mary refused resulting in him being sent to jail.
In 1866, Sweeney was appointed city chamberlain/treasurer by Mayor Johhn HoffmanSweeney was one of the few men affiliated with Tweed who were not found guilty in the plundeirng of the municipal treasury. Nonetheless, the Tweed Ring exposure prompt him to resign.

William Marcy "Boss Tweed"
The King of the deck, Tweed was the leading force of Tammany from 1866 to 1871.The ribbon across his chest says "Americus". This represents the Americus Club a small enterpirse that eventually expanded into a huge yacht club and clubhouse and served as a symbol of Tweed's wealth.
