El núcleo del TPACK está formado por tres formas de conocimiento primario. Tecnología (TK), Pedagogía (PK) y Contenido (CK). Estas tres formas de conocimiento, o mejor, estos tres conocimientos sectoriales, se interrelacionan dando lugar a conocimientos específicos tal como explico a continuación siguiendo la propia guía que se da en la web del TPACK.

el conocimiento de cómo las tecnologías pueden ser utilizadas para construir el conocimiento existente para desarrollar nuevas epistemologías o fortalecer las ya existentes.

el modelo TPACK permite la construcción de nuevas herramientas digitales como la aplicación AWSPC por medio de los conocimientos tecnológico, pedagógico y disciplinar. Se recomienda el uso del modelo TPACK en los diferentes niveles educativos para mejorar las condiciones de enseñanza-aprendizaje.
