Remember!!Adjectives are words that tell us information about the subject of a sentence
What kind of words do we use to compare?
Adjectives are some of the words we use the most when we want to compare things, persons or places between each other.
Short and long adjectives
To make a short adjective comparative, we generally ad (-er) at the end. For example: happy -> happi(er). With long adjectives, we ad (more). This happens with: (more) beautiful
To create a superlative we put (-est) at the end of a short adjective or (the most) before a long one.For example:happy -> happi(est)beautiful -> (the most) beautiful
by far | a lot | a little | more (than) | easily | rather (than) | the + [comp. adj], the + [comp. adj.]
Appart from adjectives, there are other constructions that also help us to make comparisons
