2In the Paleozoic era there were many different organisms. Some new organisms started showing up on land and in the ocean! The first aquatic reptile that showed up during this era were Spinoaequalis. They started showing up due to pangeea. This reptile is a vertebrae that has a long spine (Ocean Life in The Time of Dinosaurs). Another reptile that showed up were the Mesosaurs. Mesosaurs have "a torpedo shaped body with a long muzzle and numeous narrow, pointed teeth” (Ocean Life in The Time of Dinosaurs). Though some aquatic reptiles showed up there were other organisms that also started to come to be. Some of the earliest vascular plants called cooksonia. There were also some fish that started to show up such as ostracoderms and entelognathus. During the siliarian event, ostracoderms were were jawless and were the most common swimmers of the sea. Also during this event, Entelognathus fish existed and they had jaws. With all these organisms comes the first insects which were called Rhyniognatha Hirsti.
