There are 12 cards in Part 1, 12 new cards in Part 2 and all cards at the end.
Create a Monster
The objective of this activity is to practice vocabulary words and the use of resources. Teachers will describe four monsters. There are several ways to conduct this activity:
- The teacher does an example by describing the first monster and asks a student to come to the board.
- Students are paired up and create the monster described by their teacher.
- The teacher describes the second monster and students individually create the monster.
Drag and drop each part of the monster to create it.
Guess Who
- Students are in teams of two.
- The first player chooses one monster and keeps it hidden.
- The second player has to guess it, using the question "Does the monster have...?
- When your students have only one card left, they can say "Is it..?" and they name a monster.
