What to Look Out For:

• Charities that can't be found online or anywhere else
• Donations being sent to a specific person or location rather than the charity itself

Instead of using the donated money for whatever purpose listed, they pocket the money.

Fake charities might create posts or send you direct messages on social media to ask for donations.
