Unit 2 PBA- Social Commentary

You will need to choose ONE of the TWO project options below to create your Social Commentary for the Unit 2 PBA

Option 2: Modern Canterbury Tales Social Media

Option 1: Short Story

Due Dates:

• 11/19- Rough Draft Due

• 12/5- Final Draft Due

Specifics:

• MLA formatted document (no citations required because it is fiction and you're creating it)

• 1-2 pages (no more than three)

• Must use satirical devices to comment on one or more societal issues.

• Should have a clear plotline, well-defined characters, and a specific setting.

Option 1: Short Story

Due Dates:

• 11/19- Rough Draft Due

• 12/5- Final Draft Due

Specifics:

• Should have AT LEAST 2 social media pages that modernize the traits or group a character from The Canterbury Tales represents.

• Includes a 1 page, double-spaced written rationale why you chose to modernize the character you did for EACH character.

• Must use satirical devices to show modern issues the characters may represent.
