The mystery of the Ghostly fish is that it doesn't have red blood cells which contain the hemoglobin that all other vertibrates (including almost all other fish) need to carry Oxygen molecules to their cells. The cells still need oxygen to survive, so how can this fish live without hemoglobin? Once you solve all the puzzles, Mr. Van Cleve will show you how to move on to the ice fish puzzle page.
