5 Themes of Geography Project
Now that you have researched your hometown, you will next complete one of the following activities from our choice board to craft a final product. The final product is a type of presentation to show off your hometown at the upcoming celebration. Your product should highlight the features in order increase fame and tourism. The final product is worth 33 points. Your choices are the following: 1. Poster 2. Powerpoint Learn more on the following slides about each option.

Requirements
Your hometown Powerpoint presentation must have the following:
- each theme of Geography as a heading
- accurate information gathered for each theme from the graphic organizer
- Visuals( drawings, maps, images, videos, etc.) related to each theme, as required on the rubric
- Use of Powerpoint features like well designed slides, animations, transitons etc to create well designed presentation
- Well written- uses ELA conventions and sentence structure that meet 7th grade standards with few to no errors.
In this project, you will create a PowerPoint( a digital presentation) to present the 5 Themes of Geography of your hometown for the upcoming celebration. This presentation should be created in PowerPoint. If you want to use another digital application, please discuss with your teacher.

- A thoughtful design—easy to read, colorful and neat
- Well-written: uses ELA conventions and sentence structure that meet 7th grade standards with few to no errors.
In this project, you will create a collage poster to present the 5 Themes of Geography of your hometown for the upcoming celebration. A poster is usually a large printed sheet that contains pictures and information to present in a visual manner. This poster can be completed by hand on poster paper or digitally using design application like Canva.
