Importance of GPA

  • CSU: Minimum of 2.0
  • UC: Minimum of 3.0
  • Private: Varies but at least 3.0
  • Community College: Need H.S Diploma
  • Getting the minimum GPA is not enough to guarentee you admission
  • 10th and 11th grade final grades determine your college eligibility
  • All private schools have different GPA so be careful
  • GPA will also be used for financial aid purposes

UC's are looking for a well-rounded applicant
