By the end of Week 5, you should be able to:
- Identify different contexts where RBM can be applied;
- Formulate strategies for integrating RBM into these contexts effectively;
- Design and implement M&E plans to track progress, evaluate outcomes, and facilitate learning and improvement;
- Identify potential risks that could impact the achievement of results.
Delivered across 8 weeks with an international faculty team, these Online Modules offer extensive peer-sharing opportunities. You will have access to all materials on UNSSC's learning platform, from your computer and/or mobile device. Please note: the order of the Modules is subject to change.
By the end of the Week 2, you should be able to:
- Outline innovation and its differing types in your context;
- Understand the UN Innovation Toolkit: 21 tools, worksheets, and case studies;
- Identify your readiness to innovate through an assessment.
By the end of Week 3, you should be able to:
- Examine psychological safety to drive innovation;
- Cultivate a learning-from-failure culture;
- Learn how to encourage creativity.
By the end of Week 3, you should be able to:
- Define RBM and its importance within OCHA programming;
- Identify key components and principles of RBM;
- Discuss and differentiate between theories of change, results frameworks, logical frameworks.
By the end of week 1, you should be able to:
- Get to know the programme, your resource persons, and your peers!
By the end of the Week 5, you should be able to:
- Describe how systematic planning and evaluation can drive innovation;
- Incorporate innovation indicators and adaptive management;
- Use RBM tools (log frame or ToC) to plan and track innovative initiatives.
By the end of Week 7, you should be able to:
- Examine psychological safety to drive innovation;
- Cultivate a learning-from-failure culture;
- Learn how to encourage creativity.
By the end of Week 6, you should be able to:
- Reflect, review and complete pending tasks
Assignment
The Assignments will be a unique opportunity to contextualize your learning to your needs and realities.The purpose of the first assignment is for you to identify your innovation project, a situation for which you will develop a strategy over the next weeks in this programme. You will receive feedback on the assignment from your Innovation Coach! Deadline: 20 October 2024

Three Peer-Coaching Sessions
The Peer Coaching element is a confidential process where you will together with 4-5 colleagues to reflect on your RBM-related innovation project after each webinar; to expand, refine, and build new skills. Duration: 1 hourNote:
- Peer Coaching Sessions are not recorded to maintain psychological safety. Attendance is mandatory.
- Your will be assigned to either Unit A or Unit B based on your respective time zone.
- Following this, you will be further organized into Peer Coaching Groups, each consisting of 4-5 Colleagues.

Weekly Discussion Forums
You will continue discussing challenges and emerging solutions identified before, during, or after the Webinar in a moderated forum accessible at any time, as well as share the application of tools implemented during the contextualisation weeks. You will also have the opportunity to start your own discussions on any topic you'd like to further explore.
