A language can disappear for several reasons, for example, with the domination of another people over other, as was the case with Latin. The identity of a people is linked to the language, which is why the death of speakers and the lack of continuity among younger people contributes to loss of it. Every language that disappears is a vision of the world that is being forgotten, so we must preserve them to maintain cultural diversity.

Language is the essence of a group and preserving it is fundamental to maintain cultural diversity.
