Introduction

There is currently a global food crisis going on. Almost 350 million peole are experiencing hunger rwith nearly 49 million of those people on the brink of famine. There are many causes to the current global food crisis including the climate crisis, rising cost, and conflict. Some ways we can help with global hunger include agricultural trainings for farmers. Collaborative Activity

How can we solve hunger that is happening in our own backyard? In your group, please create a blueprint map of a community garden that includes essential foods that can be grown. Think of foods that can be used for canning, frozen, etc. to have foods throughout the year. Also brainstorm ideas of how to maintain the garden throughout the summer.
