Overview
01
Purpose
- Discuss transition from PJC to TAMUC
02
Current Situation
- With PJC, students have the option to earn an Associate's degree
- Students earn credit applicable to the future bachelor's degrees.
- EMT courses offered through PJC- for applicable schools
- Out-of-county tax imposes an addition cost
03
Out-of County Tax
Cost Breakdown
- P$100 per credit hour for out-of-county students
- $300 additional cost per 3-credit class
Financial Burden
- Increased tuition costs strain our budget.
- Unsustainable for our institution.
- Students who transfer will no longer be able to pursue an Associate's degree.
- Focus will be on bachelor's degree completion.
- Previously earned credits will be accepted by TAMUC.
What does this mean?

Benefits of Transition
