PEASANTS AND FARMERS IN TRADITIONAL CLOTHES PARADING WITH TRADITIONAL FARMING UTENSILS, ANIMALS, FRUIT AND VEGETABLES, CARTS.... EVERYONE DRESSES IN TYPICAL FARM CLOTHES (HUERTANOS). THERE ARE FOLK MUSIC AND DANCE PERFORMANCES TO BRING THE FARM LIFE TO THE CITY.

CARTHAGINIANS AND ROMANS in Cartagena city.

Romans and Carthaginians commemorate ancient history of Cartago (Qart-Hadasht) all over the city and the Camp. Warrior from different tribes and soldiers parade displaying their weapons, spears and shields. They recreate the battle and conquest of the city by Publio Cornelio Escipion.

THE BURIAL OF THE SARDINE IN MURCIA CAPITAL CITY. It is a tradition that takes place one week after Holy Saturday, during the Spring Festivities (Fiestas de Primavera) . It symbolizes the victory of Carnival over Lent (Don Carnal y Doña Cuaresma) after Holy Week.

People gather in groups (peñas) and spend the day on the beach cooking and tasting the CALDERO DEL MAR MENOR, a traditional dish made with fish, rice and lots of "ñoras" (small round pepper), cooked in the traditional black iron cauldron ("caldero") used by fishermen.
