We have two TURN IN boxes. One for English Language Arts and one for Math. This is where homework and class assignments get turned in.
I encourage everyone to meet their AR goal each quarter (15 pts). Each student in our class has a number. Beside that number is their current AR points. Blue = on target, Red = needs to work hard to make goal. Click book for link.
Each morning we have a Social Emotional Learning Circle otherwise known as morning meet-up. At this time, we celebrate our successes and identify struggles. We get to know each other better and how we can function more cooperatively as a class.
This is our Sticker Store. Each student has a punch card. They get punches as rewards for being on task, winning a KAHOOT, homework completion and other positive contributions. With 10 punches, they get to visit the sticker store.
This is where students study for their monthly passport tests. Please make sure you are encouraging your child to study at home as well. Click on the globe for a link to our passport maps.
