What is the RBT exam?

• You will have 90 minutes to answer 85 muliple choice questions.
• Each question is muliple choice with four potential options.
• If you have a medical diagnosis, you can qualify for accommodations.
• If you need support with accommodations, stop this process and coordinate with your trainer immediately.

Exam Policies:

You can only reschedule up to 48 hours before your scheduled exam. If you are within the 48-window before your exam you will not be able to reschedule. There is a rescheduling fee of $27-$32 that CSD will not cover (unless told otherwise by leadership).

Missed your 48 hour window?

If you do not pass, take it as a learning opportunity! CSD only covers your first attempt at the RBT Exam, so be prepared to pay $45 out of pocket for your next attempt. However, if you send a copy of your 'Score Report' to your Training Coordinator you will get approved for more paid training.

Retakes

Once you pass your RBT Exam, tell your Trainer and Training Coordinator. Mainly we want to celebrate with you, but we will also provide you with next steps and finish off your RBT certificatio process.

After successfully logging into your PearsonVUE account, select a date and time for your exam that adheres to the deadlines given by your Training Coordinator.

Find a time and location that fits your availability. As a last resort, you can schedule an exam date during your client session(s). Immediately follow up with clinical team members and create a make up plan for the missed session(s).

Regional Contact Directory

First and last name need to match

• Ensure that the first and last name match your identification cards/documents EXACTLY.
• If you have a secondary last name, make sure both names are on your account.
• Middle names do not need to be included if they are on the "first name line of your license/ID

Primary ID:

PearsonVUE needs a government issued ID:

• The ID has to be current (you will get turned away if the ID is expired).
• The ID needs to have your first and last name matching to your BACB/PearsonVUE accounts.
• The ID needs to have your picture, name, and signature.

Acceptable forms of the primary ID can include: Driver's license, Real ID, or Passport. Stop this process and contact your training team immediately if your name does not match.

Create your account:

1. Go to the PearsonVUE/BACB website.
2. Select create account.
3. Type in your first and last name along with your BACB ID number.
1. Find your BACB number on your application approval email from the BACB.
4. Read through all of the terms and agreements.
5. Use the CSD training password, so the training team can help troubleshoot any issues.

Log in details should match your BACB account:

• Username is case sensitive, use your email address that was used with your BACB account.
• CSD training password: Welcome2CSD!
• Website: https://home.pearsonvue.com/bacb

If you experience an emergency and miss the 48-hour window to reschedule your exam, the exam will go down as a 'No Show'. Tell your Training Coordinator so it is listed why the 'No Show' occurred and we will work with you on next steps!

Secondary form of ID:

Bring a second form of ID that has your full name:

• Matching first and last name to your BACB and PearsonVUE account.
• This form of ID does not need a picture, but your sigature is required.
• Ensure the second form of ID is current. It will not be accepted if it is expired.
