User experience
New employees access all onboarding experiences in one place. What they need to do and when they need to do it is clear and visible at login. Notifications help them stay on track. After the onboarding period, extended learning pathways help employees to meet development, feedback, and reflection milestones.Alerts and notifications keep them across compliance training.Employees pursue areas of interest, search and find task related short tutorials and bite size knowledge when they need it and complete role or skill related training with certification. Their training goals and activities can be coordinated with their line managers.Employees sometimes learn in collaboration with colleauges. They can share their knowledge and collaborate on content creation.
Volunteers can access all onbaording experiences through their tablet or mobile including information about face to face training events.Learning content can be downloaded and accessed offline during travel or on site. Notifications help them stay on track.Interactive engaging content helps them reflect on and maximise their learning from their volunteering experience and help them fulfil their personal development and career ambitions.Volunteers are able to search for resources that help them with their volunteering tasks such as templates and job aids as well as courses and learning paths to develop their skills. They can share their feedback and evidence through surveys, assignments, and other interactive formats.
HR, L&D, Line managers, VSO leadership have a clear view of the skills and capabilities of VSO employees and volunteers enabling organisation wide coordination of learning resources and activities to develop organisational capabilities in line with VSO's strategy and objectives, and stakeholder development.HR and L&D can use engagement and content analytics and user feedback to iterate, improve, and develop VSO's resources and approach and customise the system to enable best practice and the ongoing development of a strong learning culture.
Project leadership can curate, customise and localise learning paths and content for onboarding and compliance for project teams, volunteers, and local partners.Learning experiences, opportunities for reflection, assignments, feedback forms and other events can be scheduled and automated in advance across the full project cycle.Project leaders are able to see project teams' progress and their learning activities and coordinate with them to meet joint objectives.
