Road to the Revolution
Mukul and landon
June 19 - July 11, 1754The Albany Plan was constructed due to the fact that the colonists wanted to form their own centralized self government. It was first proposed by Benjamin Franklin due to the fact that the colonists wanted to unify in order to strengthen defense after George Washington's defeat in the Ohio River Valley. The British disbanded the plan because they did not want to grant independence to the colonists. The colonists were upset at the British rejecting their plea for self government.

January 10, 1776Common Sense was a pamphlet release by Thomas Paine, he expressed his view about the British and concluded that the colonies should gain independence from Great Britain.
