How to sign in and use the yarldey conference room computer

Overview

  • The conference room PC allows us to have hybrid meetings, with our team members meeting in person, and our client on the other side virtually.
  • Team members can bring in their laptops with them to join the online call, while sitting with the Realty team in person.

Logging In

  • The conference room PC is meant to be kept on at all times.
    • If the last person to use the PC before you signed out correctly, you will only need the password to sign in.
  • If the PC was powered down, you will have to sign in with the user and password

Equipment

  • The TV is used as the main monitor for the computer.
    • Join the call from your laptop, but keep it muted.
    • Use the conference room PC for audio/video for the meeting
  • There is a wide-capture mic at the center of the table, which can capture audio from anywhere in the room.

Scheduling

  • To set up a meeting, go to your calendar and hit the "New Event" button
  • The yardley conference room PC is techincally a seperate user, so we invite them like anybody else.
  • Hit "Scheduling Assistant" in the top tab
  • In the "Required Attendees" section, add the Yardley Conference Room

Scheduling pt. 2

  • The PC should ONLY be logged in to with the yardley conference room account
  • You should not sign in to your own Teams/Outlook on the conference room computer
  • PC can't join meeting
    • Check to make sure that the computer is signed in to Teams and Outlook with the correct account
  • The conference room computer should be put to sleep after use. Do not shut down
  • If the PC was powered down
    • You will have to log in with the user and pass
  • TV screen is on but nothing is displayed
    • Make sure the computer is on and plugged in
  • Camera Issues
    • Ensure that the wide angle camera is selected
  • If participants of the call can't hear you
    • Make sure the mic isn't muted.
