PRIORY GAMES
A Prom Fundraiser
Introduction
With the stress of exams coming up, we hope to lift some spirits up with our team-building, fun and entertaining challenges. This event will be a month-long experience, allowing for the year 13 students to make memories, and to fundraise - towards events such as Prom. This also gives other students around the school a chance to learn more about the seinor students and to engage with them - building school spirit.

Game Show
Timeline
The games would run with one round being completed per week.
Rough estimates would have the game starting with around 80 contestants. This would reduce to around 60 for Round 2 and then to 30 by Round 3. For the Finale, between 15-8 contestants is preferable.

Each team member uploads their best score, resulting in an overal team score. This score is displayed on a leaderboard. The bottom 5 teams are eliminated
Takedown

Steal or no Steal
In a spin on 'In Deal or No Deal', contestants must navigate a the mind games of their opponent, choosing from sealed briefcases containtin the word safe or eliminated.
With reduced contestant numbers, it is a lot easier to get them all together in a room for a round. This is the final round before the Finale.
Grand finale
+info
This final event will take place in front of a live audience with a 50p entry price.
Ultimately this event should be the star of the games. Unlike the previous rounds, the contestants (and potential audience) will be informed on what the finale is before the participate. This finale can either be a large game show with all contestants or could become a single-elimination bracket (round of 16, quarter final, ect)
Back-UP games
Here are some other ideas for games that could be used if, for example, too many people join and an extra round is needed.
Alternative rounds :
- A couple of rounds of the 1% club game show
- Hidden Code
- Extreme high pressure Simon says
- Blooket quiz on flags (Gold Quest, Crypto Hack, Racing)
- ...
'There’s no such thing as winning or losing. There is won and there is lost ... Everything in between is still left to fight for.'
contestants
Reasonable entry fee should be between £1 to £5, therefore with an estimate of 80 players, revenue could be between £80-£400
Each week after the round, a recap video will be released either to forms so that everyone can see what has been happening. This engages people and encourages more to go watch the finale
Getting a sponsered prize may be a bit ambitious so the original idea was to have the prize be 2 free prom tickets however that may not be feasible

+Prize
If a sponser can be found, the prize may come at no cost to the school
Variations + changes
These are a few differnt option that there are for changing this proposed format which each have their own pros and cons
Allow teachers to participate (Will require a well thought out prize)
Allow Yr 12 to participate (chance of losing profit/different prize)
Make it a Yr 12 v Yr 13 challenge (have to rework the rounds)
No team or paired rounds (a lot more elimination required)
Thank you for listening!

The special one ...
This activity was placed as the third and final round specificaly because of the chance of needing to 'rig' player numbers. Obviously there is no cheating or bias in this 'rigging' but as the number of safe cases can be set by the people running it, a desired number of final contestants can be set and achieved.

Contestants will pair up before it is revealed to them that the task is to eliminate eachother! The way this is done is completely up to the two contenstants so people can get creative!

It wouldnt be hard allow teachers to participate. In fact it may help in the first two round if there are not enough people to form full teams or if theres an odd number for pairs.
Bracket games
This may include games in the folowing slide or may be quick trivial games such as guess the number, quick memory card sort or scattergories.
With this feature...You can add additional content that excites your audience's brain: videos, images, links, interactivity... Whatever you want!
