- preposições - expressões como it´s (not) worth, theres´s no point, it´s no good...

When you use two verbs together in English you need to decide whether the secound verb should be the infinitive with or without the to, or the -ing form. The stucture you use always depends on the first verb. There are certain verbs that are followed by object + infinitive withou to :let, make, see, hear, feel, watch, notice: Travelling has made me wish i could speak several languages. After help, object + infinitive without to is often used. your teacher can help you outline your project. An infinitive without to is used: After a modal verb - you may not feel like doing any schoolwork. Afeter make or let - let´s watch an English film with the subtitles.

Past simple: regra: em verbos terminados em -e coloca-se o +d Ex:. loved em verbos terminados em CVC dobra-se a ultima consoante e soma-se -ed. Ex:. stopped em verbos terminados em -y a frente de uma consoante, tira-se o -y e + ied. Ex:. studied em verbos terminados em -y a frente de uma vogal, coloca-se y + ed. Ex:. enjoyed Past continous: regra: verbo to be conjugado no passado + verbo principal +ing. O uso de when e while para frases que expressam quando uma ação é interrompida pela outra. Segundo a gramática padrão, when (quando) deve acompanhar a oração que está no simple past e while (enquanto) deve acompanhar a oração que está no past continuous. Ex:. we were watching tv when he found my wallet while he was drawing, she unpacked.

An infinitive with to is used after adjetives, for example, disappointed, glad, happy, relived, sad, surprised: Your friends are happy to help you with your problems. the infinitive form is used after a adjetive + enough: you are confidente enought to speak English in public.
