- Common in developing countries.

- A Stationary Pyramid represents a poulation that is stable - meaning it's not growing and not declining
- Evenly distributed population across age groups
- Occurs in newly-developed countries which have stable birth & death rates
Part 4 - Constrictive Pyramid
- A Constrictive Pyramid represents a poulation that is declining
- Narrow base due to a decrease in babies being born
- Thick middle section
- Occurs in developed economies whose populations have low birth rates & long life expectancies.
