Sex is defined when someone is born, depending on how they are constituted, they will be male (men) or female (women).

Gender is how someone identifies themselves by submitting a personal decision. for example, someone can be born male and then change to female, their gender will be female.

Gay people feel romantic or sexual attraction to people of their same gender (the term is usually used for men, while lesbianism is for women). This is called homosexuality.

The term Androgyny can refer to two concepts: the mixture of feminine and masculine characteristics in a single being, or a way of describing something that is neither masculine nor feminine.

Neutral gender is characterized by the person not feeling comfortable with their current gender/sex. Sometimes it is the initial stage before planning a gender transition.

Asexuality is the total lack of sexual attraction to someone. Another easily confused term is aromanticity, which is a lack of romantic attraction for another individual.

Bigender is a gender identity that includes any of several gender identities and behaviors. Some bigender individuals express two distinct personalities, one female and one male; others consider that they identify as having two genders simultaneously

Some people don't identify with any gender. Some people's gender changes over time. People whose gender is not male or female use many different terms to describe themselves
Genderqueer is another category for gender identities that are not related to just male or female.
