FIRST EVER COMPUTER
With the industrial revolution the technology was advancing by leaps and bounds, and more complex calculus machines were needed. For this reason, Charles Babbage in 1822 conceived the difference engine machine idea, leading us to the basis of modern computers. It had this aspect (Picture 1) Finally, Konrad Zuse built the first ever programmable machines Z1, Z2, Z3, and Z4, coming with WWII, leading to the first ever computer in 1944-> The Mark I (Picture 2)

Here's how Leibniz's calculator works
In this period we highlight;
- Oughtred's slide rule (1621
- Pascal's pascaline (1642)
- Leibniz's calculator (1694)
Real change starts
Advances and it's big development
Despite not having a lot of real and changes, the middle ages arrived to change things quickly, with inventions like gunpowder and compass. However, the invention we are looking for the computer advance is the 1440's Gutenberg's model printing. This was innovative and had a very complex mechanism for the time.
