Stephen King wrote his first book "carrie" in 1974.Carrie, was rejected 30 times by publishers.King threw the manuscript in the trash. And it is thanks to his wife, who recovered the manuscript, that he found the courage to submit his manuscript one last time, which was the right time.

I admire Stephen King because he persevered despite failure and found the courage to continue writing thanks his wife.

He sold more than 350 million books around the world. His books have been translated in 54 languages and adapted for movies and series therefor he's nicknamed "the king of horror".
