You are relaxing at home, and instead of doing your homework for the new mythology unit in Ms. Lomelino's class you decide to start messing around online. All you friends have been talking about this new website called Oracle that will tell the future. Everyone keeps saying that is 100% real! You decide to give it a try and type in your question: "Will I fail English?"

Escape the Prophecy

Check Social Media

This really makes you angry and post some harsh words and profanity for the user before drifting off to sleep.

You scoff at the prophecy as you have never had any issues with Ms. Lomelino. She is one of the nicest teachers you have ever had. You decide to do get on social media for a while and the first thing you see really gets under your skin.

When you arrive, you are surprised to see Ms. Lomelino sitting there with him. "Can you explain this?" he asks as he produces screen shots of your hateful messages. You feel stupid when you realize that user “Lomelady” is actually Ms. Lomelino! Mr. Moreno states that they could suspend you for harassment but this time you are only getting a warning. Though you seem to have avoided consequences this time, you see in Ms. Lomelino’s eyes that she won’t soon forget about this. Once you get home, you quickly open the online oracle again. You are now convinced that the oracle speaks the truth and you must somehow avoid its prediction.

The next morning you get called to Mr. Moreno's office.

Let's start with something easy. Oedipus solved this one; can you? What goes on four legs in the morning, two in the afternoon, and three in the evening? If you think you have it figured out, you can unlock the first box that now sits before you. Upon reading this, you jerk you head up to see three black boxes and some other items now sitting on the table across your room! The first box has a four digit lock. (You must unlock all the boxes, and follow the physical clues. When instructed, return here to enter the final code.)
