Why is fire safety important?

  • Preservation of life: Enforcing safety measures ensures the protection of individuals and promotes their well-being, safeguarding lives from potential harm.
  • Protection of property: Adherence to fire safety protocols mitigates the risk of property damage and loss, thereby preserving valuable assets and investments.
  • Promotion of public safety: Prioritising fire safety within communities fosters a safer environment for all, diminishing the occurrence of fire-related accidents and emergencies.
  • Safeguarding the environment: By preventing fires and the release of toxic gases and pollutants, fire safety practices contribute to the preservation of natural habitats and minimises environmental harm.

I have a big social circle of friends spending a lot of time doing different activities with them. Outside of my day job I am a trained life coach and holistic therapist and run meditation classes, amongst other things. I wanted to help people. I know what it feels like to not feel great sometimes, what a great benefit it can be to have someone to talk to about whatever is going on at the time, especially if you feel that they understand what you are feeling. personal experience in menopause, stress/anxiety and phobias. How to contact me: joanne.thorne@caroola.com

A very happy go lucky kind of personality. I love the outdoors, walks, mountain biking and photography. I try and stay mentally active and I am always looking for new ways to be creative. My mum went through some difficult struggles as a child and developed bipolar over time. However, it took her a long time to get it diagnosed correctly and I see many colleagues on a daily basis face their own struggles and I really wanted to be able to help. I have a keen interest in supporting with stress and anxiety. How to contact me: chris.hibbeler@parasolgroup.co.uk

I’ve found that it’s a great way to keep my own mental health in check, as well as my physical health.I am very passionate about supporting others and think it’s really important for everyone to have access to an approachable person who can support them in their times of need.As a member of the LGBTQ+ community I’m keen to support others who may be struggling with the stresses this can sometimes bring. I am available to offer initial support and guidance through non-judgemental, confidential listening to anyone in need. How to contact me:katie.wild@caroola.com
