Uses
Universal facts: Two and two make four. Permanent situations: I'm Spanish. Habits and routines: I play voleyball twice a week.
Present Simple
When the verb ends in -ch, -ss, -sh, -x or -zz, we add -es. (She watches TV) When the verb ends in a consonant + -y we change y to i and add -es. (He studies a lot for his exams). But when the verb ends in a vowel + -y we just add -s. (He enjoys break time).
- I, you, we, they take the verb without changes. For example: I work, we study or they paint.
- He, she, it take the verb adding an -s. For example: She works, he studies, it rains.
- Remember to make some changes to the verb.

- Activities at the moment of speaking. I am doing my homework right now.
- Temporary activities happening right now. This week I'm working from home.
- Future arrangements. I'm visiting my friends tomorrow..

Don't forget the verb TO BE!!!!! Time expressions:Now, at the moment, right now, today, tonight.Next week, next month...
Subject pronoun + verb To Be + verb + ing Examples: I am studying English right now. She is working as an engineer in London. We are going to Paris next month.

Present perfect simple. uses
- Unfinished actions that started in the past and continue in the present. I've known Julie for ten years.
- Life experience. I have been to Tokyo.
- To talk about something that has happened recently. I've just seen Lucy.
present perfect simple. explanation
Form: Subject pronoun + have / has + past participle She has been to school today. We have been to Madrid four times.
- Be careful when to use HAVE or HAS.
- Past participle. When it is a regular verb, you only need to use -ed. IF it's irregular, you can click here and use the third column.
