"im on my way, still remember these old country lanes" This lyric resembles nostalgia, and reminicing on bilbos past life, past experiences. It resembles his thoughts before going on this great adventure, leaving hobbington. The Imagery described in the song is an example of how the hobbit views his old home. The melody and lyrics thorughout the whole song captures the essense of the bittersweet natur of leaving what youve known your whole life to seeking out new adventures. Its what makes the hobbit, the hobbit.(This would also go great as background montage music in the beginning of the hobbit.)

Castle on the..

The song has a very lively tempo. The songs adventurous upbeat tune aligns with the spirit of bilbos journey. This is defineltely a song that would suit the encounter with the trolls."im on my way, im on my way"the repitition of this lyric shows bilbos journey throughout the story, and highlights the idea of perservreance in the face of challenges, just like bilbo. The melody emphasizes the movement and progress throughout the book. The frantic pace, liveley movement, demand for quick decision making encountering danger reflects the adventurous events Bilbo and his new friends thoughout the events in the story.

"im a rebel just for kicks now"This lyric definetely is a reminder of hobbits change of character and desire for rebelliance against the chracter he was before he started his adventure."Got to let that feeling go" suggests adapting to your new surroundings and resonates with bilbos character as he is forced to put aside the hobbit likfe he knows to survive the encounters he has throughout the journey, like Gollumn, Smaug, and the trolls. its a pretty cool montage song if it were in an edit. Id imagine this song in the trailer of the hibbit was more of a comedic movie instead of an adventureous, action one.

"im The Lazy Song is known for its laid back and humourous tune. The song is essentially just about enjoying the simple things in life and taking day to day easy, not really having your mind on the worrysome things in life. The beat and the light acoustics compliment bilbo in earliest parts of the stories as he indulges himself int he iosolation in the best way possible, comfortable in his small little hobbit house with little to no interaction with peers. "Today i dont feel like doing anything. I just wanna lay in my bed""ill be lounging on my couch just chilling in my snuggie"These lyrics romantasize the peaceful, boring life he had back in hobbinton.

Bruno Mars

The Lazy Song

This song has a rapid fire beat that highlights determination bilbo has to gain in order to conquer all the dangers he went through in the book."Run boy run, this world is not meant for you"This reminds me of the frantic need to overcome his fears in certain situations, such as his encounters with the trolls."time is now, or never" I feel like would inspire bilbo to travel down this path together. This would actually go perfect with the chaotic atmosphere with the trolls' lair. Run boy run through its intense rhythm, and the relevancy of the lyrics, this song would be a perfect fitting tune for Bilbo Baggins. Sometimes we just listen to songs we relate to, which is something Bilbo would find in this.

Justification: Hero expresses Bilbo’s reluctance to be the heroic figure of the story. The lyrics, “I don’t wanna be your hero,” reflect Bilbo’s feelings of relectance and his constant internal conflict. He repeatedly doubts his own ability. The line, “I’m not made of steel,” reflects Bilbo’s vulnerability. He’s not a warrior like Thorin or a wizard like Gandalf. He’s just a hobbit with a brave heart, and yet that is enough. This song’s quiet, intimate tone mirrors Bilbo’s inner monologue, making it an ideal fit for his character arc.
