It has to be decided whether the teacher works with the whole class, sub-groups, or individual learners. Similarly, whether learners work alone, in pairs, in groups or as members of the whole group.
A bank of activities are categorized to identify each activity's relevant characteristics or its potential use within the classroom.
Decisions have to be made concerning: Who does what with whom, with what resources, when, how, and why?
