Author biography
Joaquín Salvador Lavado Tejón, was an Argentine graphic humorist and cartoonist, recognized worldwide for his most famous creation: the comic strip Mafalda. He was born in Mendoza, Argentina, in 1932 and died in the same city in 2020.From a young age, Quino showed a great passion for drawing and humor. He abandoned his Fine Arts studies to devote himself entirely to the world of comics. His unique style and keen observation of reality led him to create unforgettable characters, such as Mafalda and her group of friends, who became icons of popular culture.
