This allows us to coordinate our movements in response to the objects in our environment.
Known as Rolando's fissure .Divides the primary motor cortex and the semato-sensory cortex
Association area.It is resposible for touch, pressure and temperature.

It is located above the cerebellum and is known as the vision area.It receives projections from the retina.

It is in charge of language comprehension, meaning, grammar, syntax, etc.)
It is located in the temporal lobe and is in charge of listening. It determines whether is language or not.
Primary Auditory cortex
This area is in charge of perception (hearing, vision, smell), memory acquisition, understanding language (comprehension) emotional reactions and learning.
Contains the higher cognitive functions. And is in charge of reasoning, solving problems, decision-making, language, movement, production, attention, etc.
Motor area. It is in charge of speech production and writing.
Divides the frontal and temporal lobe.
