The'Protection profiles' tab
Click on the tab allowing you to access your protection profiles on the manager
Use the ‘Protection’ tab to configure an antivirus on your agents. You'll have the possibility to choose the antivirus Windows Defender while creating your profile.
So far, the EDR fits in most easily with the HarfangLab antivirus and Windows Defender.
How can you assign an antivirus profile to an agent?
To make sure that an antivirus is properly installed on your agent, you can access your agent's ‘summary’ page. This will take you to the ‘Antivirus profile’ insert. If an orange question mark appears, this means that a profile has not been assigned to the selected agent.
How can you assign an antivirus profile to an agent?

In order to assign an antivirus profile to one or more agents, you need to go to the ‘Policies’ page via the ‘Endpoint’ menu. Then you need to click on the chosen security policy (which is applied to the endpoints on which an anti-virus is to be installed).
How can you assign an antivirus profile to an agent?
You will find this insert on your Policies page. Then you will need to select one of the antivirus profiles that have already been created and click on ‘confirm’. The ‘eye’ icon will allow you to view your profile and modify its settings.

In order to create a new policy, you will have to go to the "Antivirus page, through the left menu. Click on the ‘Create antivirus policy’ button to create new antivirus policies. Enter a name for your policy and choose your antivirus software.

As you decide which antivirus to choose, new options appear: Cloud Protection: Maps Reporting MAPS (Microsoft Active Protection Service) is a Microsoft service that enables blocking actions to be proposed regarding telemetry retrieved via its cloud. The community also helps to prevent the spread of new malware.

Sample Submission allows you to ask the user whether the antivirus has the right to send the files scanned to its own services.
Exclusions
Click on the red elements to get details on the different parameters
Exclusions enables you to exclude specific files or folders from an anti-virus scan.
Real-time Protection
Real-time protection allows you to set up real-time transmission of certain alerts.
Scan
Thanks to ‘Scan’, you can configure, step by step, the elements that can be scanned by your antivirus software.

Updates
Updates allows you to configure updates for your ‘Windows Defender’ profile.
User experience
The "User experience" tab will allow you to configure the different actions executed to the user's level.
Once all your settings have been defined, you can create your profile and click on ‘Save’.
