Blame free classroom environment
Decorate your classroom with posters that represent a safe classroom environment. The teacher can also program an activity where students work in teams to make a collage or an art interpretation of what a blame-free environment/ safe classroom is.
* From the beginning of the school year, set the clear expectations to the students. * Build trust and Rapport with students, it is important that the teacher models a positive, respectful behavior where students notice you are approachable, supportive and trustworthy.
* Give positive reinforcement.* Show students the importance of focusing on solutions instead of the problem.*Celebrate their achievements, this will help you to keep them motivated.*By feeling motivated, students will then feel empowered during their learning process.
The benefits of promoting inclusion inside and out of the classroom will help you * To create a sense of belonging, one where students feel included and valued. This reduces feelings of insecurity, which often leads to blame others or feeling blamed.
