PASSIVE VOICE

structure: subject + to be + past participle + (by the agent)

In the simple present it is used when you want to express a action putting more emphasis on the object than on the person performing said action.

SIMPLE PRESENT

Examples:The cake is being decorated (by Aylin)The house is being painted (by Mario)

Structure: subject + to be + being + past participle + (by the agent)

Is used to describe an action that is taking place at the time the speaker is speaking. the passive form leaves out the person or agent that is doing the action, placing the emphasis on the action or event.

PRESENT CONTINOUS
