SIMPLE PRESENT

IN THE PRESENT SIMPLE IT IS USED WHEN YOU WANT TO EXPRESS A ACTION putting more emphasis on the object than on the person performing said action.

The basic structure of the passive voice in the present simple is:

PRESENT CONTINUOUS

It is used to describe actions that are happening at the present moment or around the current time. We can use passive voice with Present Continuous Tense in our sentences to direct the focus of the sentence on to the action rather than the subject. The "Being" is added to make the time clear

The present perfect passive voice in English is used to focus attention on the action that has been performed, rather than who or what has performed it.

PAST SIMPLE

It is formed with an auxiliary verb was / were and a past participle. And it is used when the complement of the sentence is the most important, when the subject does not matter or is unknown, or when it is clear without having to mention it.

Emphasis is placed on the result itself, and the performer of the action may be unknown, unimportant, or obvious. Often the executor is not mentioned.

EXAMPLES:I had never been abroad before I went to Canada last year. The cake had been eaten.
