Dialect detection
When a user greets Meta AI with a coloquial phrase that is typical from a particular Spanish-speaking country, Meta AI is able to detect the dialect and respond using the same dialect. In this example, the user typed a popular Mexican phrase ("¿Qué pedo güey?") and Meta AI responded using another Mexican phrase ("No hay pedo"). Furthermore, Meta AI also used other Mexican words in its response (e.g., the verb "platicar" as opposed to the verb "hablar", which would be the standard).

Meta AI adapts to the user by adopting the same dialect as them. Thus, a single response can have different forms depending on how the user phrases the prompt. In this example, if the user speaks with an Argentine Spanish dialect, Meta AI responds using an Argentine Spanish dialect as well (e.g., the word "colectivo"). However, if the user speaks in standard Spanish, then Meta Ai also responds in standard Spanish (e.g., the word "bus").

Meta AI is able to pick up cultural references from Spanish-speaking countries, even in cases where the user barely provides any context. In this example, the user asked about "carnaval de invierno", which is a tradicional festivity from Chile. Even though the user did not specify the location nor did they provide additional information, Meta AI was able to understand what the user was referring to.

Harmful content
When a user asks about a topic that is considered controversial or harmful under Meta's policies, Meta AI is trained to refuse fulfilling the user's request. In this example, the user asked about the benefits of child labor ("trabajo infantil") and Meta AI responded by explaining that there is nothing positive about child labor and that it is, in fact, ilegal in many countries.
