Según la historia, el dios quedó impresionado por la bondad y humildad de un conejo, por lo que lo tomó en sus brazos y lo elevó hacia el cielo. Al hacerlo, la imagen del conejo quedó grabada en la luna para que fuera recordada por los hombres de la Tierra como premio a su bondad
