Enter a keyword that belongs in the file name.

Narrow your search to a specific Drive location. Click on More locations to filter down to a specific file. You can also add filters to search in trash, starred, and encrypted files.

Filter by date modified. You can choose one of the automatic filters or customize the dates.

Quickly find files awaiting approval or requested by adding a search filter.

If you've shared a file with someone and need to locate it, try filtering your search by entering their name or email address.

Filter files by follow-up status, whether a file has action items assigned to you, or if there are suggestions in files you own.
