The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) provides detailed descriptions of what learners can do at different levels. For the C1 level, which is considered an advanced level of proficiency, the "can-do" statements describe the skills and abilities a learner should have. In the document below, you can find a detailed description of the "C1 can do statements." Read them with your group and talk about how comfortable you feel doing abilities described.

Grading criteria
Attendance
You are required to attend to at least 80% of the classes to accredit the ruta and recieve a 45-hour certificate for participation. Attendance will be taken at the beginning of each session.
Objetive of the route
This course aims to support ITESO teachers in reaching a C1 level in English language (according to the Common European Framework of Reference) The competencies expected at this level include: - The student can follow an extended discourse even when it is not clearly structured and when relationships are only implied rather than explicitly stated. - The student can read complex reports, analyses, and commentary where opinions, viewpoints, and connections are discussed. - The student can use the language fluently, accurately, and effectively across a wide range of general, professional, or academic topics. - The student can present a complex topic clearly and well-structured, highlighting the most important points, for example, in a composition or report.
