Welcome to the Deltona Middle School STEM Academy! I am Mrs. Madeline Concepción Pérez, the coordinator for the DMS STEM Academy. I teach three exciting and engaging courses at Deltona Middle School: Computer Applications for Business I, Digital Information Technology, and Exploring Aerospace. My goal is to inspire students to explore the world of STEM through hands-on learning, creativity, and innovation. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts & Computer Engineering from Excelsior College in Albany, New York, and a Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction from Concordia University in Portland. With my educational background, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to help students develop critical skills in technology, business, and aerospace.

Computer Application for Business
MSi Curriculum for IC3 Digital Literacy GS6Hands-on experience working inside Computing Fundamentals.
Exploring Aerospace
Curriculum borned by a partnereship with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and the Civil Air Patrol. The curriculum ensures students are exposed to industry-relevant content and real-world aerospace applications .

Offered twice a year for interested students who demonstrate proficiency
MSi Curriculum for MOSMSi’s courseware prepares you for the Microsoft Office Specialist Exam.
Presenting Learning Blade
STEM Curriculum
Learning Blade is an interactive, web-based STEM curriculum designed to introduce students to science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) careers through engaging, mission-based challenges. Each mission helps students explore real-world problems while developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. The curriculum is aimed at middle school students and is aligned with ELA, math, and science standards, making it an excellent supplement to classroom learning.
